Overview
Thorold, centrally located within the Niagara Region, features one full size swimming pool at which aquatic programs are provided for the towns population, as well as a splash pad for the younger generation.
Thorold, centrally located within the Niagara Region, features one full size swimming pool at which aquatic programs are provided for the towns population, as well as a splash pad for the younger generation.
The facility incorporates water saving features on the pool filtration as well as utility savings for a variable drive motor for the pool pump. With these two features alone the cost savings on this pool are of great value to the town and it’s inhabitants.
From the beach entry style pool, to the full 25 meter lap area with a diving board and water slide,
this pool is the place to be on a hot summers day.
From start to finish this project involved input from the local residents and has been a welcome addition to this expanding community.
