Ray Rude Outdoor Pool

Replacing the original pool built over 60 years ago and named after the founder of Duraflex International Corp, the new Ray Rude Outdoor Pool brings a modern, fully accessible aquatic experience to the Stanley community.

In collaboration with Ackerman-Estvold, who provided design services for the new bathhouse and changeroom facility, Aqua Plans Aquatic Consultants Inc. designed the pool and splash pad to serve visitors of all ages.

The pool features a beach-entry tots area, a gently sloping family area with teaching steps, a 4-lane, 82-foot lap section, a Vortex waterslide, a 16-foot climbing wall, and a 14-foot Duraflex 1M dive stand honoring the facility’s heritage. MAKR Group, suitable for all ages and operated on a fully recirculated water system

The pool and splash pad are equipped with Neptune Benson Xylem Defender filters and a perimeter overflow system, ensuring the highest water quality for all visitors.
