The newly constructed Sunny Life Recreation & Wellness Centre is a 64,000-square-foot, fully accessible, multi-million-dollar facility that will serve as a cornerstone for wellness, recreation, and community connection in the Trent Hills region.

Designed and constructed by the team assembled by TaskForce Engineering, the Centre features a multi-use layout that includes an ice pad, a fitness centre with two studio rooms, a multi-purpose room, and two pools: a lap pool and a leisure pool, both designed by Aqua Plans Aquatic Consultants Inc.

The lap pool features four 25-metre lanes, an accessible ramp, a tile finish, and a perimeter overflow gutter system. The 1,500-square-foot leisure pool also includes a fully accessible ramp, tile finish, and perimeter overflow gutter, with warmer, shallower water (ranging from 3 to 4 feet) designed for family-friendly swimming and aquatic play.
