Kananaskis Nordic Spa

Overlooked by the majestic Mount Kid, Kananaskis Nordic Spa spans 50,000 square feet of contemporary indoor and outdoor space - a first of its kind in the province of Alberta. Aqua Plans completed the full mechanical and structural design of five outdoor pools with varying temperatures. All five pools work in conjunction with one another to create a thermal cycle.

LA Fitness

Aqua Plans has completed the full design of multiple indoor aquatic centres located within LA Fitness facilities across Ontario. Every facility is complete with a three lane lap and exercise pool and some even feature an additional hydrotherapy spa. These sleek aquatic facilities were designed to improve the overall fitness experience of the LA Fitness brand.

Project

Nelson Pool

After being deemed structurally unsafe and closing its doors in 2015, the City of Burlington began planning the transformation of the Nelson Pool. Aqua Plans was hired to complete the full design of the new, revamped swimming pool. Nelson Pool reopened to the public in 2017 and features a 50M, 8-lane competition pool, along with a family friendly beach entry area, spray features, a full perimeter overflow recirculation system, climbing wall and dual diving boards.
